Spiegelworld Presents Absinthe @ Monday, April 06, 2015
A Few Tuesdays Ago
The intro included "If you are offended by words like sh*t and f**k, then you're at the wrong f**king show!" There was also nudity, a guy, same one probs as last time, the host (actor and former Cirque du Soleil clown Voki Kalfayan). An acrobatic show with walking the tight rope, big normal looking guy in a tiny green g-string, playing with fire and balancing body weight on one hand, were some of the acts.
It was a great show! Le beau & I had a great time, unlike mother who came to chaperon. She said it was rude, loud and being muslim was very against wearing just tassels and a gstring, which was very common, alone with abs on stage. Highly recommended! Though don't bring your mother! Oh and front row and sides may involve audience anticipation.
The Location - Crown
One of my favourite acts was by The Esteemed Gentlemen of the High Wire.
The hosts are the same hilarious couple but with different personas, and all the acts are different. You can find some acts on youtube. It may be R rated, for language and a tiny bit of nudity, but it was a great show!
I always love the circus. When was the last time you went? Do you have a favourite act?
