Blue Note Cafe - Bridge Rd @ Monday, November 02, 2015

Tuesday 29th September

Lunch with Lola on Bridge Rd, a strip of DFOs. We ate at Blue Note Cafe and Bar, which offers all day breakfast as well as lunch items, I'm not a morning person so this is the only way you'll get me to go out for breakfast. :P We found out about this place through Groupon, B'fast/Lunch for two plus drinks for $20.

Big Scrambled Breakfast $16
Three eggs in a mixture of cream, mushrooms,
spinach and feta, with a side of bacon and toast

Lola is a brunch person, and a morning one as the two go hand in hand. She had the scrambled eggs, and seasoned them with pepper. On this rare occasion we were too busy discussing showbags to ask what she thought of the dish. Though she did not rave or say anything negative, and was satified.

Veggie Big Breakfast $15
Two eggs hash brown, baked beans, mushroom, spinach, grilled tomato and toast

I had the above which was good, nothing amazing as it was just a collection of ingredients like an anti... something platter. It was very edible though and not at all oily or overwhelming like last time I ordered breakfast

Service varies on who you get. The white guy was great. The asian woman, not so much as I felt we were being treated differently for buying a group deal. Also she didn't tell us the details of the deal, as it wasn't printed on the actual voucher. We had to ask about drinks, and Lola had tea while I had a cloudy apple juice.

Will I be back? No, due to location and it was average. Nothing really struck out to me. The prices were good though and the servings were large.
