Lunching @ Super Taco, Collins Square @ Friday, October 27, 2017 Wednesday 30th Aug Super Taco offered lunch (or a midnight snack XD) at an event last night, there was a selection of taco bowls. Of which I had the lamb. 
Roast Lamb with Chipotle BBQ Sauce & Pickled Red Cabbage Bowl
Sitting on a bed of pearl couscous and wholemeal rice, this was a generous serve. A varity of textures across the ingredients made it an interested salad-ish bowl with coriander, corn and crispy taco bits.  Needs a sauce as it was a little dry but could easily be fixed. There was a little bit more sauce which was stuck to the lid, I left it unattended for a second and George licked it!! I'd like to add lime and coriander in the rice too, and sour cream, more corn and guac.  It was a generous serving and pretty healthy without my additions (sour cream, cheese). Would get again with some edits.  Super Taco also does tacos, nachos, burritos and the likes, which we tried at the launch, which you can read all about here. They're located one stop uphill on Collins St from Southern Cross Station, at Collins Square. Open for both lunch and dinner. |
