Through Liven app we're discovering new places that we wouldn't have ventured into on our own. Like Lt Billy, near Flagstaff in the legal precinct, which we were intrigued through not spontaneous enough to stop by, but we're sure glad we did!

This place is huge! There's three different dinning areas too, from morning coffee to lunch and business dinners, it could all happen here. I love the coffee window, even though it's indoors. The space pictured above was perfect for Friday drinks, on Friday afternoon there was live acoustic music.

Live acoustics and a bubbly restaurant/bar of drinking suits near the county court was where we found ourselves this Friday afternoon. An express dinner before an organ recital. With so much pain I need music to fill my soul. With so many dental appointments the budgets not going well, so as strange as it may sound we're eating out more. - For me cooking is often more $$ than going out, due to lack of economies of scales, and saffron.

Roast Pumpkin Salad $20

Goats cheese, rocket, toasted pumpkin seeds, balsamic reduction + chicken

At dinner service they were out of the chicken avo mango salad, as they're more popular during lunch, and salads are a lunch thing, for women. XD

All the elements worked well, textures and flavours. It was huge and delicious, I had half after the show. One of the top three salads I've had, we can't wait to return for salad!

Baked NY Cheesecake with Berry Sauce $9.50

Light like cream but it's cheese. With white chocolate but very light. It was amazing and I love it! Highly recommend, though I would have liked to seen some fresh berries too, as they're in season.

This serves two. It might be light but it's still a cheesecake (tastes bigger than it looks). Best shared. Absolutely delish! It's not a NY style cheesecake, you know the dense ones.

If $10 is too much for dessert, then for $5-ish at my favourite cake place, the Green Refectory the Mars Bar Cheesecake has a similar texture, being oh so light and the food of angels. They're up in Brunswick.

This place is expensive but quite nice and delicious! Service was very good, much like the two dishes we ordered. Delicious!

There is a $20 express lunch menu, available Mon-Wed 11am-3pm. Includes a main dish (7 dishes to choose from) and a drink (beer, house wine, soda/juice). We're all about lunch specials!
