Lindt Chocolate Cafe on Southbank @ Sunday, July 16, 2017

Sunday 25th June

We love Lindt! Though $8 is a bit much for a drink... and so we only ever visit Lindt when there's a good promotion or more often a $20 for two deal via Groupon. $20 for two drinks and some chocolaty snacks.

Southgate. Where the grass is greener (on weekdays) and loaded with tourists on weekends. Not a great place to hang out as it's very busy...

There weren't many seats indoors, and Freud wasn't assertive enough to get us a table in time... too slow. This is why I'm in charge.

The Famous Lindor Balls

All the bars! Lola always asks me for flavours you can't get elsewhere. Penpals love these.

My true love, I recall when you were $2 a piece, nowadays it's more like $3.

Outdoor seating wasn't so clean and nice, neglected.
But there wasn't that many seats indoors.

Vanilla x White Chocolate Ice Cream

Lindt with Freud, we overdosed and even at two hours later I do not feel good. The macaron was perfect! $3 these days. The hot chocolates were just as I remember, though we had the large size!

Salted Caramel Slice - Dark chocolate mousse, crunchy hazelnut and salted caramel ganache on a Lindt chocolate brownie base.

St Moritz Slice - Tiers of dark, milk and white chocolate mousse separated by thin layers of almond cake.

A mouse slice with a sponge layer and a caramel one with a crunchy nut wafer.

Service was very slow, brunch slow (20 minutes!), I felt neglected, though it was very tourist busy. Don't stop by before the show unless you want to make a mad dash there!

We prefer Southbank on a weekday and Collins St on weekends.
