Sunday 8th May

Grill'd was buzzing tonight, with 20min wait times (for your order to arrive) after securing a table and ordering. There was a BOGOF offer that's why. I haven't been to Grill'd for ages, and our last memory of it was the opening of the Yarraville branch (2012).

Bird & Brie $12.50
Grilled chicken breast, brie cheese, thick cranberry sauce, salad & herbed mayo

Since Grill'd appeared on the burger scene many notable burger joints have popped up offering stacks of patties, shiny fluffy buns and beautifully melted cheese. Pure #foodporn Grill'd is different in that the buns aren't so light, fluffy and beautiful. The focus is healthi-er burgers and giving back to the community. So the bun mightn't be as delicious, but you won't be "I need a salad" mood for the next week or so. Hence it gets a thumbs up from us, but so does our favourite burger joint, Huxtaburger - as a sometimes food.

What do we love Grill'd for? Their chips are still the best. For thick cut chips that is. With all those dried herbs dipped in sweet chili mayo. Yum!
