GW Eats - Meat in the Middle Charcoal Souvlaki @ Monday, November 06, 2017 Monday 4th September   I'm amazed we have Deliveroo at the end of the line O.o from Meat in the Middle we ordered... + $5 for delivery (reasonable). 
The Spartan Platter (Chicken w Tzatziki $2) $17 + Feta Fries $6.50
The total was $27 delivered ($22 for platter and chips), though the fries were huge! And the platter serves two. Fries were a hint soggy, pita a bit hard in the middle but other than that it was alright.  The chicken was quite good though a bit drier than preferred. The salad was very good! The usual Greek salad but with crumbed feta, and fresh ingredients. Wasn't so keen on paying extra for the tzatziki though.  Crispy Onion Rings w Honey Soy Aioli $6 The Ellina (Chicken Platter) $18.00 Tzatziki 1.50 Desperate times call for desperate measures and so we ordered from 'Meat in the Middle' again as they're one of the handful places that deliver and we felt like Greek tonight. It's decent but expensive for what it is, and not as good as other places (that don't deliver here that is).

  Souv & Burger has the open platter for $15 and is bigger, and includes chips AND tzatziki. It's in Glen Iris near Warrigal x Burwood. That's our local souv place. |
