Wagyu Meatball $17.50

Spicy tomato sugo, shaved parmesan, sous vide egg and char-grilled toast.

It's quite rare that we can't get a picture of the exterior of a restaurant, though on this particular day it would be shooting against the light and there were too many cars in the way, as Mojo is located on main street filled just restaurants and food shops with cars on both sides and down the middle.

The first brunchy place in Glen Waverley, being a chain they're quite popular. Though nothing on the menu really caught my attention, no gravity waffles or dessert pancakes for the likes either. Other than being the first of its kind in this area, I don't get the appeal, as we are not phased by fads (being old XD).

We had the meatballs for something real rather than high on the food porn scale (we did that yesterday). It was very good though needs an extra something. Perhaps more cheese? Mango Chutney or more salsa?

It was entree sized and this one of the more filling options! - Said the waitress. It's ridiculous though the area is indeed expensive unless you're after chinese/malay food to be frank. There are no lunch deals in this town. With brunch the idea is to order three dishes to share between two, $60 + coffee.

I always say when it comes to clothing, the more space between the racks the more expensive it is, think boutiques, and so that was too my first impression of White Mojo. To us the deco was minimalist (but not as much as a place in Camberwell, which had no deco) and not my style.

This is the "outdoor" but undercover area.

Service was friendly, but other than that it was small and expensive. Nothing impressive.

Are you a fan of White Mojo? How many brunch spots do you have in town? From all the places I've lived Camberwell seems to be king of brunch on this side of the city, in the recent years. How long will this food porn over substance trend last?
